Cost effectiveness in VoIP deployment using the Simton IPX |
Besides the Simton IPX has dedicated MIPS, DSP, and Network Processors for reliability, voice quality, and QoS performance, the Simton IPX is very inexpensive. The Simton IPX has a series of products with different numbers of FXO, FXS, T1/E1 ports and VoIP channels. Compared to an IP PBX of the same scale and with a similar features set on well known online VoIP supply shop, Simton IPX's sale price is about 50% to 60% of their posted price. In addition, the Simton IPX has built-in IP router, VPN, and firewall capability.
With Simton's distributed VoIP technologies, a convergent enterprise data and voice network's size can be built up gradually. Using Simton IPX systems, the mesh topology and the star topology can exist on an enterprise network, in which no centralized soft switch platform is necessary.
In the Simton IPX, multiple VoIP service accounts and multiple PSTN lines can be subscribed from the external service provider. The resources can be shared not only by local Simton IPX users, but also any Simton IPX users at remote locations of the same enterprise network. With some properly configured call routing policies, outgoing calls from the enterprise network can go through different VoIP service accounts, and PSTN lines exist at different exiting points for the best economy or the best service quality. The enterprise network is indeed an internal service provider that works with multiple external service providers.
The Simton IPX is also a plug-play system for most customers. The built-in configuration meets the common needs of most individuals, SOHO, and enterprise customers. The Internet browser based management system allows the ease of local and remote system provisioning. The network maintenance cost for managing Simton IPX is minimal.
