Variety of the Simton IPX systems to provide whole VoIP solution |
The Simton IPX product family includes three series: IPX-P series, IPX-H series, and IPX-B series. The product family covers the needs of the individual, family, SOHO, SMB with or without branch offices, and of large enterprise businesses. Secured data VPN, Firewall, IP access router capabilities, as well as VoIP, PSTN, and PBX voice capabilities provide customers all-in-one products for building advanced convergent communication solutions.
IPX-P100 series supports 1 to 2 FXS and 0 to 1 FXO ports, but can have multiple virtual extensions for PSTN phones, IP phones, or even remote IPX extensions. It is ideal for the individual, family, or mobile user. It has an IP router and PBX features built-in.
IPX-H500 series and IPX-Office series support 0 to 8 FXS and 0 to 4 FXO ports, with more virtual extensions (PSTN phones, IP phones, etc) possible. It is the best choice for SMB offices of up to 16 people. With IPX-H500 or IPX-Office, SMB does not need an extra IP router or firewall devices.
IPX-B2000 series supports up to 32 FXS and 16 FXO ports, and almost any number of virtual extensions. Almost all features available on a legacy PBX are supported in IPX-B product series.
IPX-B3000 series supports up to 96 FXS, 32 FXO, and 4 T1/E1 ports on board. With a new I/O daughter board, IPX-B3000 can even support larger scale IP PBX. Multiple IPX-B3000 can stack together using E1 connections to have one larger IPX locally with one IP connection to the outside. The ability to be proxies for virtual extensions is unlimited. The IPX-B series products are designed for medium and larger enterprise networks.
Simton IPX of any product series can be used alone or as a part of an enterprise data and/or voice network. They can be used to connect with legacy PBX's and to convert legacy PBX's into IP PBX's.
In most cases, the Simton IPX product family can be used to build a whole VoIP solution. Simton IPX supports international standards, but also has some (optional) proprietary methods to ensure better reliability and voice quality for voice VPN solutions.
